IBR Replacement

Tired of fighting my IBR problem so I’m thinking about replacing it but only one available is Pt# 278003042 which I think has 2 flat key instead of the square one like on mine. Anyone know how I can make this work?

Do a search and find the threads where I give all the part numbers you'll need for the 2009-2011 conversion.

Thanks I found it but can you tell me why I need to replace the support & fitting plates when they seem to be the same part numbers as what I have on mine already? Thanks again for your help….

Hey ski-d00 I ordered all parts needed to replace my Actuator, do you know if I will have to do any software update after installing the new one? Also what position is the key in when it comes from the factory?

No software update is required but you may have updates available which are good updates. Only way to check is to hook up to BUDS.

Newer iBR units require marrying with BUDS but 2009-2011 are plug and play for the most part. I have had to re-calibrate with BUDS a couple times after replacing iBR units on the older years.

It will come in the all the way up position so all you will have to do is install as is. Pretty simple install even for the first timer.
