I need a little help from the pros

I sold a mpem from a 97 spx to someone that hooked their battery up backwards on their ski originaly. He said that he could visualy see that the old mpem was bad. With mine installed he says that the starter will spin but no spark at the spark plugs. Did he fry the triger and the beeper is not working? Or did I sale him a bad mpem? Thank you for any help. He needs to analyze the remainder of his system. No way for us to know if the MPEM you sold is good or not without being able to ohm it out.

Even seadoo dealers sell electrical items with a "no return policy" on ALL electrical items. Regardless of what the item is or what the price. Who knows if he didn't do something wrong with it as he did with the first one...

Thank you PWCdoc and KustomKarl very good advice. Ohm test on triger and stator will be next I am thinking triger was also fried :cheers:
