Engine temps....

It's all over this forum to not use the TCW-3 oils.

The Seadoo requirements for the 2 cycle oil is a non NMMA, non TCW-3, low ash oil.

If you can't get the Seadoo oil, you can go to Wal Mart and get the Quicksilver blend of oil that is suitable for Seadoo's. Look on the back of the bottle, it'll tell you that you can use it. But before you decide which one is good for you, you have to know what kind of oil, synthetic or mineral.

Because you've been using the TCW oils, I"d use the mineral blend. You need to remove the oil and gas now and re-mix.

You say your engine feels hot. How hot? Does the exhaust system feel hot? What about the resonator, does it feel hot?

Your temperature sensor is set to alarm somewhere between 205* to 210*F. You can test it with a pot of boiling water and a cooking thermometer. You can test it with a continuity meter too.........which ever floats your boat.

Good luck......

This is the correct oil and fuel recommended by SeaDoo;

Use High quality low ASH API TC Injector oil.
Do Not use NMMA TC-W, TC-W2 or TC-W3 outboard motor oils or other ash less type 2 cycle oil. Avoid mixing different brands of API TC oil as resulting chemical reaction will cause severe engine damage. Never mix Mineral or synthetics oil together.

Never use fuel containing more than 10 % alcohol,( Methanol or Ethanol) as severe damage will occur. The minimum of 87 octane is recommended for most engines.
