I have a 2002 gtx and an engine alarm keeps coming on but the jet ski runs fine is there anyway this could be caused by a low or bad battery?

I have a 2002 gtx and a check engine alarm keeps coming on but thre jet ski runs fine and us not overheating. Is there anyway this could be caused by a low power battery?

Why don't you check the battery voltage and CCA and rule it out as a factor?
