I can not solve this Screw

Hey there,

sorry for my bad English.
Im from Germany and have a Seadoo Speedster BRP from the Year 1997.
I have some Problems with the resatuartion.

I want to remove the grabrails (you can see it on the picture).

I can not solve this Screw.

Is here everybody how can help me?

Pry out the plastic cover snap cap item #40 by the arrowpoint to gain access, remove M6 screw item #42 in this drawing?

Maybe if this is a Phillips head type screw, you might need to use this tool. This is an impact screwdriver that can help apply more torque than an ordinary screwdriver. Also, it may help to use a solvent such as acetone for loosening the thread locking adhesive applied to the threads by the factory.
