Hi there!

As I said in my title, I just bough a speedster 150 155HP and I tried it for about 3 times so far I like it A LOT! Some people might think that because it's not the 215 SCIC, there is no thrill to find with it... Oh boy, they are wrong! This thing flies!!! (yeah I like it alot)

I've got a question:

I heard that it's not good to do donuts because it's bad for the engine when the propellers (I'm not sure about the right word) go out of the water, the rev goes up and it might ruin the engine or something... Is it true?

Thank you!

Patrick

Welcome to the seadoo forum Patrick. You might want to post you seadoo picture in the avatar ans a description of you machine like me.The 150 speedster is not a bad machine at all. I have the 200 speedster and didn't want the supercharged model due to the fuel economy and problems associated with the super charger. I have the naturally aspirated 4-tec with 310 hp, ( 2) 155 hp). It gets a LOT better mileage then the SC model and is only slightly slower on the top end. The SC unit needs 91 octane too apposed to our 87 octane fuel. As far as doing donuts the seadoo has a rev limiter to prevent it from over revving. The only rule of thumb I follow is that when I jump higher than 4 feet off of waves, I back off the throttle to ease the stress of the impeller in the water on the landing.
Post some pictures in the users galleries.
