Hydroturf 3m self-adhesive to add more glue or not?

Just wondering if anyone can advise me whether or not I need to add extra 3m spray adhesive to the hydro turf on my 1995 speedster? It has the self adhesive backing already.

No reason to uses anything other than the double side that is already on the Hydroturf. BUT... I would recommend cleaning the boat very well... and then wipe down the boat with Acetone (in sections) just before you stick it down. (to make sure there's no wax)

FYI... I've never had a "Stick" failure on any of my toys, and the 3m stuff that hydroturf uses. AND, it's WAY easier than using contact cement, like in the old days.

When I did my gtx I cleaned the hull with a magic eraser then put the mats down. I put some weight on them overnight to help with the adhesion. 3 years later they still look new with no sign of coming up.
