I've posted a few threads on here in the last couple of days about an incident at the weekend where I was towed back to the dock. (no more than 5mph for 300 meters).

After getting it out of the water we started the engine for 10 seconds and then shut it off, and also done this a second time and it seemed to rev quite freely. If there was any possibility that my engine was hydrolocked, would it have started?

Also, as it has been a few days since the incident, is there anything that I should do before going back to ride it?

I'm getting paranoid that I have damaged it!

Thanks, as always, for your help!

go back out and start it again. sounds like it is fine. how deep was the water inside hull?

Water got to just below the battery - but that was from earlier in the day when I didn't put the plugs in at the back. After I drained the ski it ran great.

When I was being towed though, there was no water that got into the hull that looked more than normal.

Thanks for your advice.
