Hydro turf too small?

Hey guys i got my hydro turf for my 97 speedster and it looks like the swimming platform turf is small compared to the original. Is this usual? Also whats the best way to get the old stuff off?

I dunno about the sizing. BUT to get the old stuff off. I used a heat gun and a plastic scraper. The old stuff will mostly peel off just the traction part. The glue part will all stay on the boat. Then I sprayed Goo Gone on and let it sit 5 minutes minimum. Then using the blue shop type paper towels i wiped it off. Took a while but it worked. Then wipe each area down with rubbing alcohol just before putting the new turf down.

Thanks for the reply, I got it figured out. It was the aftermarket stuff put on by the owner before me that was to big.

My HydroTurf was cut exactly to the size of the pre-molded texture. It actually made installation easy, as you just matched up the pieces to wherever there was texture. If it's smaller than that, then I would contact them and get a new piece.
