I'm pretty sure the molded grooves are only available in the basic colors like Black and Dark Gray. The cut grooves or cut diamond are available in all other colors.
Some of the two-toned colors can get quite busy, but look really cool in some boats. That burgandy 1800 is a classy looking boat. You may stick with the basic colors. I'm betting that the most common color is Dark Gray. Those of us that have purchased it probably assumed the black would fade to gray over time, so why not just start with that color and avoid the fading. Tony's blue looks amazing. And I am wating to see what another member here is going to do with his Granny Smith Green Speedster.
Going on our third season, the dark gray molded diamond looks great in our boat. And I pressure wash mine regularily. I chose molded as I thought it may not wear as bad. Some have said the cut patterns can leave a little bit of turf-dust in the boat. But it's your only option with the alternate colors.
Any way you go, it's a great investment. I find my wife suggesting it to friends on the sandbar all the time, and she was the toughest one to sell the idea on, as it is quite the investment.
Good luck!
