Thinking of installing it in my new boat, is it a good product and a worthwhile investment??

If so, where is the best place to get it??

Definitely a good product. There are a bunch of threads about it on the forum... do a search and you will turn up tons of info

There is a 10-15% discount available at PWC Muscle for seadooforum members on hydroturf... contact them if your boat isn't listed on their site. There's a thread about someone doing just that a few weeks ago... again, a search would turn it up

My boat had hydroturf installed, and I just ordered a kit for my ski. Its awesome

Use coupon code HYDRO15 for 15 percent off all turf at pwcmuscle.com

Awesome...thanks for the info and the discount code!! Quick question....do you need to clean the floor properly prior to installation?? I know about general dirt and debre but what about foot prints and scuffs?? And...I guess on a side note, what can I use to remove foot prints?? I want to do a complete detail and wax next time I'm down in Florida but when packing up the boat I left foot prints on the bow and sides when jumping in and out of the boat and couldn't get them out even with a wash??

Is worth every penny. i have spent like $3000 on mods to my boat and it was the best mod yet.

If you have any factory mats they need to come off. Then any glue needs to come off. If you dont have anything, clean it good with any cleaner and rinse. Dry and then wipe it down good with alcohol and it is ready to stick it down.

Try a Mr clean magic eraser on hard to get spots.

O.K...so here's another question (lol) I was checking out the colours last night, would it look stupid if I got the red hydo turf since my boat is white and red or should I play it safe and get the grey?? Also what pattern is the best...the groove or diamond cut??

I find most of the time… a contrasting color is the best way to go. I’m sure HydroTurf’s red will match… but gray will make it visually interesting.

Before installing the turf… I would recommend a normal wash. Then, wipe down the section you are about to apply the turf to, with acetone to remove any wax or oil on the hull.

I thought I give you a peek at what it looks like in grey. IMO the red will be way too much for this boat. The grey gives it a nice, finsihed look and like everyone has commented you will not be disappointed, regardless of what color you go with.

As a reference mine is cut groove. In hindsight I wish I would have been a little more aggressive on the pattern....diamond cut or something along those lines. The cut groove is pretty plain jane. My only regret regarding hydroturf.

It's durable and easy to clean.

Thanks for the pictures!! I will definitely be ordering it for my boat. You may be right about the red...!! Does anyone know how long the 15% off promotion will run for??

As far as I know they always give us 15% off for being forum members. Also, the Red is known to fade and I think its one of the few colors that they dont even guarantee.

Thanks foster....just checked out the colours again and saw the note under the red that it fades severely..!! looks like it's the grey for me, gonna get the diamond cut pattern. What's the usual delivery time from the date of order??

I ordered mine and had it in like 5 days. Ask for samples if you arent sure and they will mail them to you.
