Hull vent on passenger side

I have a 96 speedster. There is a vent or something on the passenger side that goes through the hull that has broken off. What is this and does anyone know what the part number is? I can not find this in the parts manual and need to replace.

It could be the battery vent tube. If you use a newer style battery you won't use this tube. It probably has a check valve in it also.

It's made by perko. Was it about the size of a 2 liter soda cap? It's the gas tank vent, yes it's needed. If I can I'll post a pic later.

Not sure of the size as it was broken off at the outside of the hull. The hole through the hull is about the diameter of a #2 pencil. It had a tube attached on the inside but wasn't sure what it went to.
