I have a 97 GTS and the hull by the pump nozzle is starting to open up. It has a 1/8" wide crack x 3" long from the corner of the nozzle laterial going towards the outside of the sled. raw fiberglass strands are showing. this is in a protected area of the hull so it not from hitting something.

Has anyone had this type of issue and suggestion on how to repair?
Thanks

That is a tough one. It will require tearing down the pump system so you can work on the hull.

The source of the crack needs to be located. An impact on the other side of the hull could have some effect on this crack. Alignment of the driveline could also stress this location.

Then you would need to conduct the actual repair. You could do it with fiberglass patch kits. But this would depend on the complexity of the curves/surfaces and if any reinforcement is needed.
