Just started having running problems and was looking over motor. Found oil line from oil tank to oil pump had got twisted and kinked. The oil line from oil tank had a small air pocket in it just before pump. The two small lines from the pump to the cylinders had several air pockets in them. Started ski for a few seconds on hose to see if they went away and did not. Ski did not smoke much at all like it was getting oil. Checked compression to be 145 on both cylinders. What should I do? The ski is a 2000 GTX RFI.

there is a bleeder nut on the front of the oil pump that when turned counter clockwise oil will start to run out which will get the air out. ther should not be a twist in the main line is not good, you should be able to twist it back at the oil filter unless you are talking about the rotaryshaft oil line it will be tough since it does not have a filter.

hope it helps
