how to take Ski pylon apart lol

I have the ski pylon out of my 97 Sea Doo Challenger but how to take the Ski Shaft out of the Fixation Tube ?

In order to remove it, you have to put it in a vise upside down. Then using a screwdriver or punch, hammer it out. It is probably bent, that is why it won't come out. I had the same issue when I had my 97 Challenger.

Is there a pin that holds it in ?

No, there is no pin that holds it in. If you go to the Seadoo.com website you can look at a parts breakdown. The pole just slides in and a indent on the pole (rubber band holding a piece of metal) helps to keep it in place, but this won't keep it from sliding out. If your post does not come out it, it is probably bent. The pole can bend especially if someone has towed a tube with the pole.
