2007 seadoo 200 speedster 4-tec 430 hp. PLEASE HELP my dad sucked up a rope and damaged it. how do i change it.

You need to remove the pump assembly from the boat and then you should have access to the boot.

Thanks for your input. How do i remove the pump assembly? Ive found lots of videos on PWCs but nothing on a 200 speedster. Can you help or refer me? Thanks.

I bought a manual online for about 10 bucks. Or you can join and get a premium membership here. I would seriously follow the shop manual. Also there has been various threads on impeller replacement here just do a search. Also some of the guys who have been documenting their restorations take pictures of everything. It's worth while reading.

I have experience only with PWC pumps and not boats. I don't think there's much difference other than the reverse gate and steering linkage. Basically you remove the reverse linkage and steering linkage then you remove the hose clamp and hose that sits on top if the pump at 12 o'clock. Next are the 4 bolts that attach the pump to the hull and you slide the pump and nozzle assembly off the drive shaft. Your best bet is to purchase a shop manual and that will describe it in detail.

If I'm wrong on the procedure please correct me.

Thanks for the reply can you confirm the shop manual. I have the 2007 seadoo 4-Tec manual. Is that the right one? I can't find anything about seadoo boats only info on PWCS.

I have looked for the boat specific manual for that year and came up empty. All I found was 2010 and up.
