HOW TO remove seats

on a 1997 Speedster, I noticed on the fiche that they screw in, it looks like from underneith like between the hull. Thanks

That is correct. You need to get you arms under the seats and in through the cup holder to get to all the screws.

how do the 2004 sportsters come off. mine are soaked and they wont dry with the cover on. want to take them off and leave them out for a couple days...

I'm not too sure on your boat, but tomorrow I check the manual for you. You could go to the "parts" link at the top of the page, and see what is listed in the parts break down as to how they are attached.

Joel,All seat cushions are secured with darts,to detach,lift cushions at rear sides and pull,taking care to not lift from the rear center,to release darts.Darts may need to be replaced.The center seat cushion has a locking plate on the front.Pull the seat at the rear like the others then pull forward to release from plate.The fuel pump access is under this seat.
