How to remove seat from 2012 Wake Pro 215

So, I bought my used 2012 WP 215 from a dealer. The seat had been out in the sun and was in somewhat rough shape and they agreed to get me a new seat cover. Well, the seat cover is in. My ski is kept on a lift. I'd prefer NOT to have to put it on a trailer then take it over there for them to put the new cover on. So I was wondering how difficult it would be to remove the seat and just take that over there (I have a cover for the ski). I can't find anything online about how to remove the seat. So how do I go about doing it? I'm not in front of the ski at the moment (it's kept at my friend's house) and I was hoping for some guidance then I'd go over and remove it.

at the rear of the seat underneath there is a lever, pull it upward and should release.

I have seen a few that the latch fails on. If that is your issue, you can turn the latching lug out with a wrench as you can see the hex head on the stud while the seat is down.

The seat works just fine. I'm looking at taking the whole seat off to have the cover replaced. Can't find anything on how to do it online. I'm heading over there today to take a look at it.

Pretty obvious once you open it and look at the front hinge/pivot. No real tricks.

So removed the seat yesterday. Not that hard. Four bolts total. The ones on the sides were the hardest to get to but doable. Dropping the seat off tomorrow to have the cover replaced (they're not open until tomorrow). Can't wait. Going to be like a new ski.
