Ok here what I have 95 seadoo speedster

well from what I have read there no bolt and 10 mm nut on the bow backrest

well this one does have one pulled and pulled till it pulled off the back rest

now there is now way to get at the nut to remove it ??

any one had this one before as what I am thinking of doing is drill a 3.5 inch hole under the bow cushion so I can reach it

is this the thing to do

Hu?

The bow seats on the 14.5' boats didn't have nuts or bolts. There isn't any way to get to them.

If it's a different seat... post a pic.

Here a few pictures as you can see the bolt still in there
was thinking to dill a 3.5 hole were the tape is sitting there nothing under there as I look it over IMG_0036.JPGIMG_0037.JPGIMG_0038.JPGIMG_0039.JPG

I added a couple of pictures where the bolt is the pic with the tape is where I was going to drill a 3.5 inch hole
do you think that would be ok

Well.... Unless there was an oddball out there... that's not factory. The bottom should have been stuck on with body spikes... and the back would have had 2 body spikes, and two top pins that lift out. But, in your pics... it looks like the original holes were damaged, and cut open.

Anyway... yes... you can cut a hole in the bottom fiberglass, to reach up, and install a bolt.
