How to remove back rest cushions from driver seat challenger 2006?

Hi

Just wonder, is there any one know to to remove the back rest cushions of the driver seat from the challenger 180 2005-2006.
Do I need to drill out 4 rivet heads on the back of the seats?

I'm assuming it is the same as my 06 sportster.... at which point you pull on the lower part until the darts come out and then lift up... as there is a metal hook on the top part that the back rest usually slides down on.

It is quite tight to pull out, but I will try to pull up to see how it go.

Mine actually they use the Pop Rivet 3/16” part #204130014. I think I will need to drill out the rivet head.

Yours is a dif style than mine. Mine goes into the fiber glass.

Check out the manual and look for the parts that make up the seat. Usually this helps

yes, drill the rivets... but I have fought both the back and the bottom to keep the new rivets in after replacing my interior!
