how to install kaolali lcd display on seadoo

Just an update on installing a New Kaolali 6 in 1 display.
1. I got power from out of my RPM gauge that normally feeds to the old LCD, my New display powered up and reads the Voltage of the battery. So that’s good.
2. Next I cut the RPM wires from old LCD and connected to New display and that works. On New display there is an option to tune the RPM to make sure it reads correctly. I got it close but to be accurate I need to get an engine tach reader to finish adjusting it.
3. The New display comes with an Hour display which can be programmed to start at where your old LCD was at. Luckily I recently had a new DESS key programmed for a spare and they told me my hours. So that’s done.
4. Next is the Fuel level. I hooked up the wires from old LCD and got nothing. So, I tested the fuel gauge wires on my ohms meter and got nothing. So I went straight to the wires on sending unit and still got nothing. My sending unit is bad. I need to fix that next. The ohms range from 0-90.
5. I have not tested the oil or water or air temperatures yet.

What are you installing this on?
You aren't going to get any oil temp on a 2-stroke.

This is on my Seadoo LRV 951 carburetors type.
I think the oil tank is Oil Pressure not Temperature is that correct?
Thanks

Neither, no oil press or temp. It is just an idiot light to a float when it is low.

Got it.

Where is the engine temp and water temp located? Is there an air temp other than the one on the nose. Do you know what type signals those are?
Another question is how does the crankshaft it oil? I know the pistons get it from the carbs mixture. Is there oil for the impeller?
How do you add or check oil on all of these.

Forgot something, for the oil low light how can I add a light. What kind of signal comes out of sensor. Since it has 2 wires do I supply12v (+ and -) with a LED on dash and when oil gets low it completes the circuit to turn on light.

There is no engine temp. It is just a switch that grounds at a preset temperature to turn on an idiot light.
If it has a lake water temp sensor it would be on the ride plate with the paddlewheel for the speedometer.
Crankshaft is oiled from the same oil injected into the base of the carbs, it is a typical 2-stroke. Counterbalancer has some oil in a sealed chamber that should be changed. All of ths is in the manual.
Low oil light just is a path to ground when the float drops triggering a dash light for low oil.

Sounds like l need 4 different idiot lights.
The 2000 Seadoo LRV Manual I have does not show those. If you please, can you send me a link to the manual that would show those details.
Thanks Jim
