A buddy of mine purchased or is purchasing a 2005 Seadoo Sportster. But for the life of me I can't find the flush connector for it.

On my old 96 Sportster, it was right on the back.

Where is it on this model? We really just want to start it up to make sure it starts and such. Could we run in for 30-45 seconds without it being hooked up?

flush!

you can run it for maybe 10 to 15 sec or so to see if it starts with out the water... but u just have to be careful... i know it can cause a lot of problems if you over heat the exhaust. but i have a 06 challenger with a s/c 215 4tech and my flush is on the back of the jet on the top left side of it! its reallllly hard to get too, thats why they make a quick connect to get to it easier! if i had a pic id show you.... but its back behind the the big cup that comes down for reverse.... if that helps any!

I have the exact same boat the connector is on the back pull the reverse gate to reverse position and you will be able to see it and reach it i purchased in amazon the flush kit that is really handy is a two pieces kit one adapter tip that looks like the tip of a hose with a reduction on one side and the hose with a quick connector that connects to the adapter i am not sure if you can leave the adapter connected but i am assuming you can....

I have the SCIC but the connection is to the upper right behind the jet nozzle. You will find the thredded fitting and you need the kit which people say you can buy the fittings for a lowes or home depot. I bought mine from the shop (23.00). Make sure you connect the hose with it off. start the motor and then turn on the water. run 2 or 3 minutes and turn off the water let the engine for 10 seconds or sao and turn it off.
