How tight do I tighten the RAVE slide valve?

Can anyone tell me how far do you tighten the metal slide
into the rave valve body before installing the complete valve back on the engine? I now have the manual, but
no answer to this.

Linda, glad to see you back. When you put the valve back together, you should tighten it down until it reaches it's stopping point. There it's designed to bottom out in the cap and no further.
Make sure you look in the manual and put the tapered end back into the slide in the right direction and the internal gas port matches back up on the cylinder in the same direction.........that should be it.
