how much fuel line?

How much fuel line do I need for a 96 GTI? I am replacing them today, and am going to clean the carbs. man... looks like 10000000000000000 feet. What size? 1/4? Use reg clamps too?

I just did the 96XP and it took just a little over 20 ft. So you should be safe with 25. Also, use 1/4" line. I got 5/16" and it was a little too big. Stainless hose clamps.

I found that the fuel valve (on/off/reserve) was pretty corroded so I replaced it. May want to take a look at yours.
