How Many Hours on 1 Gallon of Oil

I just bought a 1997 Challenger. I've never owned a 2 stroke boat with a separate oil and gas tank. I couldn't find anywhere in the documentation what ratio of gasoline to oil the engine burns. Yes, I know that I don't have to mix the oil and gasoline as there are separate tanks. However, I'm getting ready to live on a boating trip and need to know how much oil to take with me. I know my gasoline tank is 27 gallons and the oil tank is 2.4 gallons. Does anyone know how many hours I can get on 1 gallon of oil or 1 tank (2.4 gallons) of oil. If anyone knows the ratio the engine burns then it is easy math.

Thanks!

This is not exact but I would go with a 50 to 1 ratio. this should be a safe number and you may have some oil left over as you will not be useing this much all the time. hope this makes sence when you do your math and good luck Robin.

Perfect...Then if it is burning 50:1 and my oil tank holds 2.4 gallons then I'll need to fill up my oil tank once for every 120 gallons of gasoline (or roughly every 4-5 tanks of gasoline).

Any idea on how many hours you can get on a tank of gas while tubing and boating around a lake?
