How hard is it to press in/out cylinder sleeves?

I went for a pre-bore on my cylinders, first one "developed" a crack during the process.

I see sleeves advertised, can one just press them in/out or is there a special "tool" or "jig" required to get the job done?

Seems pretty straight forward, but as always, would not want to make matters worse.

with wife not home, turn ovenup to 350*, set cylinder in there, and let it cook. The weight of cylinder, will/should "slide" down sleeve. If good, at same time, have new sleeve, "chillin" in the freezer, and when other is good and toasty, pull ur out, pop new sleeve in. But had heard, when install'n new sleeve, to run bead of silicone around lip edge, do to "scrap" surfaces on edges of sleeves/cylinder walls, which allow water to escape in, during running...
