How do I drain oil ?

I mixedAmsoil in with Seedoo oil and have been advised to drain the oil and put in new to avoid risking engine damage. I went out to drain the oil and didn't know where to begin. There appears to be 2 hoses coming from the oil resovoir (1 with what I'm assuming is a filter the other without) they both disappear under the engine so I didnt know how to gain easy access to remove the hoses to drain the oil or if there is an easier way? Sorry, I am a novice, can someone walk me through this?

hey jake...one with the filter goes to the oil pump. Take a beaker, or if you can get a jug of some kind under the resivoir bottle, pull lines and drain in that, or beaker it out. If ski hasn't ran, more than likely, the Amsoil is still in resivoir...

i did run the ski for about an hour after pouring less than a quart of Amsoil in. would draining just the resovoir be good enough?

also another stupid question, while checking out the oil system, I pulled the connection off the top of the resovoir where I believe the return line and the oil sensor connect to, it's just a plastic tube with a rubber gasket around it. when i try to push it back into the hole the rubber gasket bunches up and it does not seat securely, is there a secret to pushing this in such that the gasket dont bunch up?

disregard the stupid question about the gasket, i fugured out it was actually a collar i had to pull off and insert into the hole first - hard to see what you are doing under there ;) but any advice on draining the oil is welcome. Thanks

honestly,....I mixed seadoo mineral with kawasaki/ blue crap in my tank, along with, in a bind, grabbed waterever 2-stroke premix oil there was at gas station,...no probs, dude. Crap just burns anyway..might have different opinions, also, not say'n to do it either. But, for yuour peace of mind, drain/beaker the res bottle, then may ge messy, but drain what you can out of lines, blow into "in" line, with return line in a jug/bottle, get what you can out, that should be sufficient...

that sounds like a good approach but gives me a new question - wont i then have to bleed any air out of the in lines which brings me back to where I started this morning, the lines connect under the egine and that is where the bleeder screw is too. I dodnt see how to get easy access to this area, I considered taking the air intake off to see if that gave me easy access to the bleeder screw but didnt want to do a lot of work for nothing.

I'd leave the line with filter alone, syphon/beaker out the res bottle, then whenyou get what you can out of in/return lines and casing, when filling up the res bottle, it will gravity feed the return, thus pushing air out of casing...

If I understand, if I am able to drain the resovoir and the lines to and from the crankcase but I leave the current oil in the line to the oil injector pump (the line with the filter) I then dont have to worry about bleeding the lines, right?

At that point do you think I can then fill it up with Amsoil (which I already have) or should I refill with Seedoo oil to match what is in the line to the injector pump? when they talk about mixing oil causing engine damage, is the concern with the oil going to both the cranscase and injector pump or primarily the crankcase?

I'm thinking I might try feeding a tube connected to a fish aquarium pump down to the crankcase thru the oil line to pump out the current oil.

way I see it, is when you refill the res bottle, its just gonna push on top of oil thats in the filter line, thus not mix'n with it, but the "in" line, will fill along with return, once the seadoo oil is buned, the amsoil will take its place, no different then draining system, then refill'n with amsoil, ju8st your using the seadoo oil first. Yah, wont need to bleed the line...
The oil goin to oil pump, wont see the oil goin/return'n from crankcase, unless the seals are bad, the crankcase oil, will keep recycling,...
