I am not sure if I want to hear the answer to this or not, but curious how difficult it is to remove the superchargers from my 2009 seadoo speedster 200. Thanks!

Not hard at all. The secret is having an E8 ring wrench (damn hard to find). I bought a set on amazon.
You will need E8 socket, E8 ratcheting wrench, and a E8 wrench. You need the ratcheting and the wrench even thou they both do the same job. As you get close the ratchet is pushed off the head by the block.

Trick: 1/4" SAE works as well.

Here is evil bolt one, this has to be done with wrench as you can't put a socket on it.

Evil bolt two and three, not bad but hard to see and must be done by feel. You can use a socket.

Shows picture of their special tool. Just buy 1/4" SAE wrench

I've removed 2 and it was pretty easy to do. I also didn't have the special tool. Dive in and get her done.

I removed and reinstalled mine it wasn't hard but a couple of bolts as described above were tedious. PWC Muscle has step by step videos on youtube which walk you through the whole process... Good luck!

I've seen the videos, and understand the process. Just curious if I am going to be upside down like some contortionist trying to get these things out.

I found this picture on the net for the speedster 200 showing the engine compartment. Like all things shoved into tiny compartments, there is going to be some uncomfortable positions and some oaths uttered.

So buck and "git-r-done!" Most likely you will have to remove the J-Pipes to get at the super chargers.

Having owned a 200, get a buddy and remove the 2 pins on the engine cover hinges. With the cover removed you can lay on your belly on the back and easily work on the engines ;)

Oh boy, I wish I could just separate the shell, these boats are very uncomfortable to work on. Are you able to reach them from the under the seats? ( I'm sorry I am asking these questions, I'm three hours away from my boat or else I would just go check myself)

Nope only way to reach them is by removing the cover or finding a midget to crawl in the engine bay. Its possible to get in there but it wont be easy at all. Just remove the cover ;)

If comfort is a priority, take it to a dealer....Doing it yourself isn't difficult, but you will indeed be contorting yourself A LOT!

That is the reason I am asking, when working on these things I can get very frustrated, and halfway through the process I am wishing I had payed someone else to do it

No way I would pay a deal, its too easy, 2 hinge pins and then 2 bolts on the SC and a few hose clamps. Simple simple!!
