I found another stock one still in the box. Its 100 cheaper than the Skat-trak swirl. Anybody with a 96 challenger switch from the OEM to the swirl? Is it a better impelled? Thanks fellas

Swirl impellers are fantastic out of the hole. I highly recommend them. I run Swirl impellers in almost all of my water toys. Every once in a while I will use a Solas Concord... but for a single engine boat, the swirl is your best option.

If your stock impeller is damaged, and you are looking for a stock replacement... check eBay. You can OEM pulls in good condition for under $50.

I haven't put one in a Challenger... but I did have one in a Sportster. (single 720 engine, same hull) I use an impeller with one degree higher than the recommended, and I bored the pump 1.5mm.
