Cooling system....

Sounds like you got blockage in one of your elbows that connect your cooling system to your tuned exhaust pipe or your resonator.
Look at the loop of the exhaust pipe. You'll see where the water liine comes from the head and goes over to the exhaust pipe. This is where water is first picked up by your jet pump and sent across the top of your head to the exhaust.

The water is circulated around the exhaust pipe to be preheated before it enters the engine block. There is a "T" in that line that sends some of that water to your exhaust pipe, to cool the exhaust. There are also, 2 more elbows that provide water toward the back, at the resonator.

Lastly, look at the bend of the main exhaust pipe. There is another elbow. You'll need to remove these individually and find out if any or all are blocked. Be careful with them and do not change one for the other unless it's the same size. If you look on the side of the elbow, you'll see a number stamped on them. That is the orifice size. These are designed to regulate the flow of water at precise amounts.

You need to do a complete trouble shoot of this cooling system because if it fails by blockage, major engine damage may occur.

Good luck!............

I found the clamp the connects the pipe to the 2" rubber exhaust hose to very loose. Now does that pipe fill with water while its running, would that loose hose clamp cause the water to dump into the ski and not cool the exhaust.

Yes, the clamp is a vitial item to be tight. It will allow water to enter the HUll too as it is a water cooled pipe.
