where do i attach a hose to my 09 speedster 150 155 to run when not in water id like to make sure its running after winter b4 hauling it to the lake a pic would b appreciated

If it hasn't changed dramatically from my 2012 Speedster, then you connect the hose in the back next to the starboard side of the pump. You should be able to screw the hose into a threaded connector. Use a flashlight so you can see where it goes. You might find it easier to move the shifter into forward so that you can move the bucket out of the way. Also, in the future, getting a quick release kit for the hose makes this task much easier.

I use the quick coupler and attached a 8 inch length the hose to leave on permanently. Makes a lot easier to attach and detach.

I have thought about doing the same thing, but the quick connectors I look at seem to constrict the diameter of the hose so much, I worry about leaving them on there. Is that water intake used during normal operation, or only when flushing the engines? Anyone have any problems from leaving the quick connector ends on there???

Thanks for any feedback.

I believe all your flushing is the exhaust. It is used in normal operation, but again only for the exhaust. Been about 6 years for me- no issues.
