hose attachment ?

i have a 2009 speedster 150 and i want to know where to attach a hose to run the engine when not in water :banghead:

it's tucked up behind the reverse bucket next to the pump

go to Home Depot and buy the quick connect for garden hoses, makes it easy to connect the hose to the boat without the chances of cross threading it....also make sure you don't turn on the hose before the engine is running otherwise you will hydrolock your engine

so i can start the engine dry just to make sure it turnes over without damaging it

You can turn the motor over but I wouldn't let it run without water running through to keep it cool. The flush adapter is on the back of the boat next to the jet pump (where the propeller would be on other boats). You should see threads where you screw the hose in, it's usually in the upper left corner. As for the quick connect, it will allow you to connect the hose without having to twist and turn you garden hose which can be difficult in that tight space.
