Horn and nav light switches

Horn and nav light switches light up but do not function. Pulled fuzes and they seemed to be all right. .. Trouble shooting pointers please. Thanks in advance.

Replaced my horn two years ago. Not expensive about $40 with stainless grill upgrade. Check light bulbs with volt meter and replace with leds. My running lights don't work but I never boat at night. First make sure that your horn is getting 12 Vdc before replacing it. Besides fuses, there could be two issues here. The switch could be bad or you are not getting 12 VDC to the switch. It is possible but highly unlikely that your nav. light and horn are both bad at the same time.

Swapped fuses and still not working. The switches light up when engaged.. Where is the horn itself located?

Horn is located on the starboard side near the helm:

Break out the voltmeter and see if you have power down at the horn. If you do when you press the button, and the horn doesn't sound, then your horn is bad. If you're not getting power down to the horn when you press the button, then your switch may be bad.

Check the input side of each switch to ensure you have power going into each.
