Hood Access Panel - can you get gauges out ????

96 Challenger 14.5 - need to change tach - can this be done by removing the panel in the bottom middle of hood or does the entiore hood have to be removed and dismantled????

Take the bottom panel off, and reach up inside to un-thread the retaining ring. There is no good way to do that... you just need strong fingers.

The gauge will unplug inside the hood.
