I took my 07 challenger 180 yesterday and it acts like something is caught up in it at dead start. If I take off slow it does fine and also will still run 40/45mph. I looked up underneath and nothing seams to be in the impellar. Why would it start up like that but still run full speed?
Thanks
JG

I have the new wear ring and grease. Changing out tomorrow. Let ya know how it goes. There is a lot if help on how to around here. Should be pretty simple.

So I replaced the wear ring, had the impeller reconditioned, and replaced the carbon seal. Now its cavatating even more.

Have them check to see if the ride shoe is sucking air. My 2009 (and apparently quite a few others) have been found to have voids from the factory.

I'm no Sea-Doo parts expert, but I think they refer to it as the "Riding Plate" in their parts diagrams. At least, that's what I recall when I was looking up parts online.
