So it has been killing me not to be on the water! I am going to replace my tygon oil pump lines but did not want to start another job on the seadoo until I knew that it was still running ok since I winterized. Two reasons, when I winterized last year, it got lean and had a dreaded rpm runaway and wanted to be sure I did not have an issue and second, wanted to be sure it was running ok in case after I tore it down to replace the lines, I was not second guessing anything if I had an issue if I replaced the lines before my first run..
Docks are not in yet in Columbus Ohio yet so I had my wife stay with the car at the ramp so I did not have to get too wet. Spent a 1/2 hour on the water. 64 degree air temp and 41 degree water temp. Funny how warm 64 feels at the start of the season and how freezing cold it feels at the end! Did find that my fuel baffle replacement float that is the new style is already failing... Just fixed this last year... Sooo, found a new style new sending unit on Ebay and will have that in a few days... $140 I was not expecting to sink into it considering I just repaired it but guess that is all part of ownership!
Still 140 compression so hoping to get a few more years out of this motor...
