HIN question.

['07 Challenger]

My boat's HIN plate starts with US-CEC. Is the US- supposed to be printed on the title and registration, or do they omit that and start with CEC?

I got it with no title and it's out of the DMV system so I have to do some paperwork to re-instate it and want to make sure I input the right stuff.

I got my answer from DMV, the "US-" isn't included.

Tomorrow she'll be floated off the trailer for the first time ever. It's strange to have to do a break-in on a 16 year old boat.
