Have one as well on my XP, they are super nice. Need to just break down and buy one for the GTX as well. Not sure one would fit on my SPX with Pro Taper bars, etc. Guess I can test fit my cover on the XP
Yes they are nice but the price keeps creeping up on them. They are the best option though and last so I keep buying them.
At this point I think I have spent more on covers that I have spent on my skis.
I bought two in 2015...now in 2021 one is ripping - needs replacing -- and the other needs a few stitches around the handlebar. I figure one more year max for that one too. Material is not the thickest - yellow and black one for XP/PXL model.
I ordered two Covercraft Sunbrella ones Model XW446D1 to replace them since they looked very thick and sturdy. They do not have a vacu-hold system and really need to use straps for trailering...or remove them.
6 year warranty....color Blue only! Covercraft sells them for over $200+ but I searched around and finally caught them on Walmart site - $128 each and they only had 2 available. Hopefully they are as good as the Poppy or better. Sun damage to the fabrics is my main issue ---even in NY. The Poppy material eventually ages and breaks down and thins....then they will tear easily from the tight stretching needed for the strapless fit. The black material appears to be stronger and lasts longer than the yellow material as they age. Only the yellow fabric has holes and tears starting...black fabric parts are still pretty decent.
