I finally got to take the boat out today since last year and had a blast but it seemed like the RPM's were running high. 7500-8000. didn't have any power loss or anything just think the RPM's are running high. you guys have any thoughts?

I guess it depends on the boat. 2 strokes generally run quite high. I'm 7200 WOT generally running twin 787's.

Have you added anything on your boat? My friend gave me his skis...heavy as shit. Boat wasn't going nearly as fast and rpm was pushing. Took his crappy assed skis off my boat and removed extra crap I didn't need ( extra buoys etc) and now boat flys once again. Remember...easiest way to make your boat/car go fast is to make it lighter!!

4tec non supercharged rev limiter is 7650, peak power made at 7300. So, if it says anything over 7650 its not reading correct as the ecu won't allow that!
