Haven’t tried towing anything yet this year. But I don’t recall the rpm being that high especially without a water skier or a tube with a few kids.
it seems to have power. It’s had yearly service. Never had any repairs on it yet. 20-30 hrs use per year.

My 230 runs about the same, 5-6k cruising and pegged out with hammer down. How the boat is loaded down and amount on fuel will impact rpms a bit too.

Hello everyone...and first sorry for high jacking the threat...l have a 2004 sportster single rotax 4tech...and on GPS WOT it only does 37mph...l already replaced the wear ring just in case...this is an old new too me boat...l hear that it can go over 40 mph but I haven't reach that not even close...what should I be looking for?
Again sorry for high jacking....and thank you in advance.
