I have a 2019 Wake 155. It has 21 hours on it and I changed the oil before taking it out for the first time this season. Where I launch, I ride about 20 min thru a no wake zone using the "low speed" setting. There were no issues during that run. When I sped up and got to about 20 mph, I got a high exhaust temp warning within 2 min. I quickly shut off, waited a few minutes, started it... reversed for a bit and then started again. I didn't go far, maybe 1/2 mile, but didn't get a warning. (I sat anchored for about 30 min). When I started off, I got the temp warning again. I cut if off, repeated the backing up, but it still was coming on. I ended up riding back in low speed mode with no issues. When I got home, I flushed it and blew air thru it and nothing obvious came out. The oil level is fine as is the coolant level. I looked up at the impeller from the front and it looks fine (some slight nicks, but nothing dramatic). I ride in the Potomac, and there is a lot of seaweed and debris, but I didn't see any around the shaft or impeller. So where do I look? I can't find a step-by-step troubleshooting plan.
