Help with testing MPEM and electrical!

I was unbelievably careless and hooked the battery terminals backwards. Now of course it won't start. I checked all fuses on the MPEM and nothing visibly wrong with them or anything in the ignition box. The starter does turn when I jump the terminals on the solenoid. Is there anything else to check on? Can you test solenoid and other components of the ignition box and MPEM with a meter? I would hate to buy a MPEM and the problem be something else.

double check the fuses, along with the 15amp down in the relay/coil area, i believe.
