I've been working like crazy trying to get a lot done on my XP so I can take it out this season. I'm down to the last few items now. I got carbs off. It was a nightmare due to stripped bolt. So I look the nut off the choke cable bracket and can't remember how the spring sits. Anyone got one laying around they can snap a few close ups of...

I hope you plan on changing those crap grey tempo fuel lines

That's exactly what I was doing as well as cleaning the carbs. Last section of lines I have left

The springs are easy.

The white bushing, put that on with the flange to the carb. Put the spring on with the longer double bent end down toward the bushing flange. Make the choke blade open, wrap the top of the spring around and have the choke cable bracket hook it, but have it angled and the align the squared hole to the shaft and put it on, then lock washer and nut. Remember the spring is there to keep the choke open.

Oh, and next time pics are your best friend before you take them apart. I know how they go and I still take pics of everything before.

Hurry up and get that on the water, this weekend is going to be nice!

Thanks for the help racerxxx that was a big help. Im going to be ready next week for sure if I push hard enough

racerxxx - got them assembled and clean but on the one carb I have 2 bolts that won't come out. One spins and the other won't budge. These are the long bolts that screw hold the carbs in place. Ive sprayed wd-40, bolt off to try and loosen them with no luck. Left them overnight as well. Any suggestions

If they spin, keep loading them with WD, and work them with a ratchet and work them out if you can. I had to carefully drive a set out that were pretty stuck, you will run the risk of possibly breaking the carbs if you don't support them right. The stainless and aluminum react and form a white powder. It would be great to get them out so you can clean them up and grease up the screws really good.

The 1 spins and ill prob get the bolt out. The other moved but now its stripped and won't turn from the bottom end either.
