So here is my problem. I have a small boat house and need a boat to pull my teenage son on his slalom ski. I like the looks of the 155 speedster NO turbo - it looks comfortable for my aging body and still fun. the dealer is not sure that the 155 will pull my son up on his slalom. He is 150 lbs now and will probalby top end in a few years at 180ish lbs. The dealer suggest s a regular 3 seater sea doo - but that does not look as comfortable. What exerpiences have folks had pulling skiers on slalom skiis up and around with a 155 speedster.

Thanks anyone

I've never tried pulling a skier yet, but I owned a sportster 155HP last year and now have a speedster with the 215HP and can tell you there is a huge difference in power not only top speed but out of the hole. I personally think your best choice would be with the 215HP engine. I may be selling my boat...it's a 2007 speedster150 215HP with very low hours...if your interested PM me!!

May just do that once I decide if a 155 will do the job. I am afraid of the cost of the turbo engine each year and not particularly good with mechanical fixing - have to pay someone to do the turbo type of job.
