Dr Honda Well-Known Member Jul 4, 2013 #2 #4 will work... but if you want bigger cables, and want to spend the extra $$$$ then that's up to you. It's really not a critical thing. These engines will start on a good motorcycle battery, and in the ski's... they are using very small cables.
