Help! Rookie buying a seadoo!

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to say that I am thankful for many of these forums for answering my many questions.

I will be a new see-dooer hopefully tomorrow. I am looking at a use 2007 Sea-doo Wake 155. It has 190 hours with the Rotac.

Question I have is that it does have some sand gel coat damage on the bottom and I'm wondering how big of a job its going to be. Is it ok to ride without repair? I am getting the PWC for $4000 CAD and think its a pretty good price. I will post some pictures to get an idea. Also any other things I should be looking for pre sale? Its a private deal so anything helps.

You need to repair hull ASAP so there is no water intrusion and get delamination of the gel coat , push on hull around it . Test drive to make sure the ski operates perfect .

Regardless, what Atom1234 said re:intrusion/gelcoat/hull is germane to either PWC or boat. The PWC guys probably know more on current market and pricing.
