Help Please with 2000 XP!!!

I want to flush correctly, not sure where the connecter is. on the back of my 2000 xp by the pump there are two hose connecters on the right side of the pump, the one on top is threaded, one on bottom is not. On the left side of the pump there is one threaded connecter. Which is used to flush?

Secondly, I hear you should clamp a hose, where is the hose i need to clamp?

The shop manuel is not very detailed on this subject. I would appreciate any help

I would look on the inside of the doo and see which external hookup has the hose running to it, should be the right upper.

If the 2000 xp is anything like my '97, then the hose connection is on the upper left and is threaded on the inside. I am not aware of the need to pinch a hose unless you are towing or winterizing with anti-freeze. It may be different for the 2000. Just make sure you crank engine before turning on water and turn water off before shutting engine off. This order is what keeps water out of the engine on most models.

Looking at the parts finder for your model does seem to make the hose connector on the upper right. Which means there are some differences in the two models.

ok upper right it is, i was thinking it was that from looking inside the craft but needed to make sure. thank you fellas
