EDIT - the guy pulled the post off craigslist....maybe he sold it. I was thinking the price was too much for me anyhow.

WIll this boat be able to pull up water skiers, as heavy as 220 pounds?

and what do you think of the price?

If you have a skier that knows what they are doing, then you are probably fine.

The 155 is on the low end in regard to size/power. It is in many skis to give you a comparison. I have a 2010 GTX with the 155 engine and it is a fantastic second ski. But,,,, ski are lighter and narrower. Thus the power to weight ratio would be better compared to a boat.

If I was looking for a jet boat I would get a larger engine. This is just my personal preference. I like to have larger engines and not work them as hard.

The 155 engine is a good engine and can easily get 400 hours before you need to look at rebuilding it.

My wife runs the GTX and in 3 hrs she MAY use 5 gallons of fuel running 35 to 40 MPH on average.
