Help on buying a Ski

Hi everyone. Haven't been here since I sold my XP. I have a chance to buy a '99 Yamaha XL1200. It only has 38 hours, looks good. Never had a Yammy ski, but many bikes. The guy is wanting 3k$ but I think I can get it for less than $2500. Think this is a good price? Also, how are these for dependability? Any things I need to look-out for? Sorry this is not a Sea-doo question, but I hope you guys wll help me out. Thanks, and it's good to be "aboard"!:hurray:

Welcome to the seadoo forum...You do realize that this forum will be one sided to seadoo...Because they are the best. If you do have any seadoo questions you will get lots of responses as this is a friendly forum with lots of active members...As far as the Yamaha... I have no Idea, or any material to check it out or advise.
