Where does the line leading from the oil pump towards the front connect to? It is about 8 inches long and has come disconnected. Can't find where it should connect. I have a 1997 GTS thanks

The oil pump has a line into it from the injector tank. From there it goes to the carburetors in 2 small injector lines. Give it a look over to find the connector.

I guess my question was incorrect. The feed lines to carberator are intact. The line leading from the pump on the TOP of the tank off the pump is the one I am referring to which is about 8 inches long and is not connected to anything right now. Where does this connect? The other line from this pump leads to the base of the motor is also intact. thank you

It sounds like the feed line from the injector tank...it should connect to the bottom of the tank. Are you still running injector. With that line off it would be leaking oil all over the place.

On top of the oil injection tank there is no pump only a sending type unit that sends a signal to warn you if you get to low on oil it allso has a tee fiting up there with one long hose that goes to the botom of engine and a short hose that has a check valve on it that I believe goes no where. If you look at the top right corner of this page you can click on parts and you will be able to see where most every thing goes. Good luck Robin

I reread your post...there is no PUMP on the tank...yes, Robin is correct. That is the sender unit that indicates low oil if it is low. The one end is the vent.
